A M Associates undertake instructions for all types of commercial
property and residential properties for commercial type clients.
The range of properties spans from a lock-up shop unit to a
multi-storey office building or industrial estate or high quality
residential accommodation.
A brief description of some of the recent instructions that
have been undertaken or are currently in progress include the
following:
Project Management/Party Wall/Cost Control/Planning Supervisor
- Instructed to provide a package of construction and project
management related services for a building project in Notting
Hill/Kensington area of London. This is being undertaken on
behalf of an overseas Trust to convert a building comprising
of two apartments into a high quality single dwelling house.
This project is being carried out in phases, one of which is
currently under construction.
Pre-acquisition Surveys
- A pre-acquisition building survey was carried out of a shop
unit in Covent Garden.
- Pre-acquisition and due diligence was carried out to student
housing being acquired in South London for a major provider.
Dilapidations
- Instructions have been received to act for a Tenant who vacated
premises in landmark building on the South Bank in Central
London and then monitory settlement will need to be negotiated.
Re-instatement Cost Assessments
- A M Associates carry out re-instatement cost assessments
for a major property company comprising of a whole range of
commercial and residential properties throughout the UK and,
in addition to undertaking inspection and assessments of a
proportion of the properties, A M Associates also provide overall
portfolio advice at the time of renewal of premium insurance
cover.
Party Wall
- AM Associates have been appointed to deal with party wall
matters arising out works to extend vaults in a basement which
involves underpinning.
- Andrew Mazin is the appointed surveyor in connection with
a major development site in Central West London
Expert Witness & Dispute Resolution
- Andrew Mazin was appointed as an Expert in connection with
damage to adjoining buildings arising out of building works
and by using Scott Schedules was able to provide information
to enable a negotiated settlement to be reached.
